8 REASONS WHY INVESTING IN AN EXPENSIVE PHONE ISNT A BAD IDEA

8 REASONS WHY INVESTING IN AN EXPENSIVE PHONE ISNT A BAD IDEA

Its 2016, economic crunch and all, process are sky rocketing, there is a dollar crisis, and the laws of demand and supply are beginning to go against every rule in the book. It has begun to get to the extent where people are forced to look inwards and ask themselves the question, what I really need this and this for. At first instance this article was supposed to be an insight into how budget phones are a good alterative but we kind of sat back and said hey, let’s be real here high end phones always win, however you look at it, they spend a longer time in fashion, they do the most work, they last longer and most of the time they are highly upgradable. Now here is a well worked upon list of 10 reasons why we think so here at #AbsoleTechBlog that your money is worth more investing in that high end phone.

1)      Social status; well there is reason why they call it, ‘’handset, it’s always going to be in your hands, and hello, everyone is going to  see it, I mean, hey, it’s right there in your hands, your most obvious appendage. I hate to be the one to break it down for you, but we are a social class people and we will judge you by what you use. At social events, parties, get together everyone is going to judge your social status by that one thing, yes, I am sorry, not my fault, they are going to judge you by what handset you use.

2)      Quality; cheap always means lower quality, argue from now until tomorrow, only cheap people will say different. low budget phone companies always find the cheapest way to break even, they use the cheapest processors, cheapest cameras, cheapest kind of batteries, and off course cheapest kinds of screens, I mean, how else did you think that they were going to be able to come up with a phone under 30k, brand new, and not to forget accessories, nothing is more annoying than opening a new phone plugging in the ear phones and listening to that terrible sound quality coming from those cheap head phones

3)      Longevity; flagship companies, worry a lot about reputation, hence the investment in durable material that can stand the test of time, scratch resistance, water resistant; like the Samsung galaxy s edge and a host of other flagships, we aren’t going to waste precious time here stating the obvious in the quality difference between the longevity standards of the high end flagships to the budget handsets.

4)      Cheap phones are getting complacent; the complacency and the boredom exhibited in these low budget phones can be heart wrenching, I mean you could pick 10 different low budget phones and there would be no major difference between them, you would think all the devices were made in the same factory, oh well, probably they were, just saying. This

5)      Performance; most of the low budget devices out there run on 1.3ghz processor speed or less, the clocking on this devices when put to test usually live up to their ratings’, but they are in no way as fast as their bigger colleagues in that line, I mean an iPhone 5 is also clocked at 1.3ghz but the speed is like comparing a turtle to a Chinese speed bullet train.

6)      Resell value; when it comes to the value of a device, you want to make sure after you get bored and want to upgrade you can still get good money in return for your device. At least for more than a year now, the iPhone 5s has maintained its second hand value at 65-70k in the market, there is no way that won’t go a long way for a 5s user who wants to upgrade to an iPhone 6 at 120k. It’s a good choice for upgrade and also a good opportunity to do so. Let’s not imagine what the buyers would tell you if you want to resell a low budget phone. Franky anyone who wants to go low budget would always consider either preowned phones or better still a brand new low budget phone for the time being.

7)      Update-ability; low budget phones re not updateable. End of story.

8)      Camera; the camera is my favorite part, most of the time everyone has a phone, has a story. There is never an opportunity to get a snapshot without flipping out your camera. Things happen and everyone wants to save the moment and whoever thought up the idea of putting a camera right in the middle of a phone had a great idea. From all the police brutality videos, to a dress crisis of BeyoncĂ© and Rihanna on the stage, every phone user’s fantasy is to be the one to upload that one viral video, and believe it or not nothing could be more hellish than thinking you got a good picture shot or video and playing back to relive it was crappy. Nothing in this world is as bad as a once in a life time opportunity picture and you check to look at how cool the selfie you had to risk your life to take was actually a blurry ufo picture, that phone will eat the dust. High end phones are usually designed to the maximum to have the best most efficient camera till date. From the iPhone 6splu to the Samsung s7edge

All that said and done I think although we just gave you a bunch of reasons not to go budget, but to be honest there is only 1 reason you go there in the first place is, well, BUDGET, so there is no reason to go down that path if your wallet can handle some real current generation flagship, which will be absolutely worth it once you are able to recover from your wallet surge. To put it clearly, an iPhone 6s a galaxy s7edge, Nexus 6P, will always outwork and outshine a cheap low budget handset.

To conclude, quite frankly the performable and features of some of the low budget phones are something to pause for a minute about, we still believe the choice is still absolutely yours. Each situation and circumstance is different and it’s still ultimately up to you to decide what’s best for your usage.
